Timing a Christmas project
Christmas stitching runs on a deadline. A small motif for an ornament or a card front can be finished in a weekend, but a large, detailed chart takes months, so count back from the date it has to be framed and wrapped.
Reds and greens can blur together under evening light. Keep your floss sorted by DMC number, work the darkest outline color in good daylight, and compare the finished size on each card with the frame or ornament blank you plan to use.
